COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS

In life, we are different. I mean people are different. Some are rich and some have just enough. The question today is are you thankful and grateful for what you have or where you are today? Or are your just complaining about things?





Let me be clear about one thing, you do not have to own a mansion or a plane to be thankful for. You have to be thankful for the good people you have in life who guides or help you, be thankful for the bed that you sleep at night, be thankful for food that you eat every single day etc. Most of all, be thankful that you are alive.


You should stop comparing the life you have to your friends or neighbour or colleagues etc. It can depress you. BUT its okay to have determination to achieve more, its okay to be ambitious, it is okay to want to have more and start working more. For instance, you are blessed such that you are either on salary or own a business, own a house and why not? That’s what is called determination to achieve more in life when an opportunity presents itself. Don’t trouble yourself on how many houses your friend own.


Let me tell you this, there is someone who is lonely and sad because he/she has no one, there is a person who is starving because he/she has no way of getting food, there is someone who is using a wheelchair because he/she can’t walk, there is someone who just sleeps at home because he has no strength to go out and work etc. Then you have all these and still complaining.


Let me also give you something to think of today. Ever thought what life would have been if you didn’t have what you have now? How will your life be if you get an accident that is so severe and you can’t work anymore? What would life be if you didn’t have the parents you have or the job you secured or a business you own?


Be happy for what you have and stop complaining. Don’t take anything or anyone for granted as someone else is praying for that. Even the little things you have are blessings. Count your blessings.
